On mushies-what to take to party?

Hi all, I have a Christmas party next weekend and I'd like to take something that I can eat, too! I'm on mushies....any suggestions?

Thanks

Absolutely!

A bowl of mashed potatoes made with some skim milk and a tad of butter- maybe throw in some garlic salt?

Also, there's always deviled eggs or egg salad, potato salad, crock-pot fare (slow cookers almost digest the food for you!) or chowders like clam or corn.

As long as you chew really really well and keep to soft foods, there's really nothing that you can't have at the mushy stage (besides bread, rice and pasta. Avoid them at all costs!)

Don't feel like you have to throw food in the blender to eat it- there's lots of options out there that are both healthy and delicious!

Another option is to eat before you attend the party, and then bring "normal" food for the rest of them, sticking to healthy beverages like fruit juice or crystal light. You can even bring some cran-grape juice with you- that's pretty festive!

Good luck to you!

Sweet potato souffle or pumpkin pie sounds good.
