    I'm here to help...

Indenial, I received an email last night that you posted on our old thread. Exercise is excellent for blowing steam, relaxing, finding mental balance. My biggest struggle was the mental balance. Moderating our food is truly what brings the weight down. Exercise provides the mental power to moderate. Tackle food planning and see how it goes when you completely surrender the "cheating". You will be so thrilled with the success you find, that you will build a stronger desire to stop "cheating". My strongest weapon to lose the weight was success stories. Ever notice how motivated you feel after you watch someone share their success? You can get that feeling everyday from youtube and other sites that share stories. I watched everyday to maintain motivation. Motivation, food, exercise and sleep. Maintain them all. I need to update my profile here. I lost 140lbs, 50% of my body. I am normal BMI now and have been for 2.5 yrs. Prior to surgery I was on disability, depressed, suicidal and anxious. I never expected more from life. I am now the head RN of my hospital, I manage critical care patients and the staff. I speak publicly giving inspirational speeches. I am the rock of my family. When tragedy hits I am the counselor that keeps everyone getting up, eating and trying. JeweI, jeweljolyn on YT
  6. Nope, I was informed by mail a couple days ago. I am only 3 weeks postop. I was told to come to this site and look for and aftercare provider. What kinda **** is that.
  7. I live in GA and have been driving 3 hours to see Cywes because I believed he was passionate about bariatrics. I was so devoted to seeing only him. I have an appt with Dr Kelly in Savannah but I am not sure about him. I cannot find reviews or anything for him. I have been eatting Cywes way for so long, I feel like I am gonna have to learn a new Docs rules and basically start over. Scared of what will happen if I have an emergency since I am still just 3 weeks post op.
  8. To add to this saga, the office Dr. Pinnar joined in Florida is closing at the end of this month. Holy hell I hope this doesn't happen with us too.
  9. I just had a revision from lapband to sleeve with Dr Cywes 3 weeks ago. I am so mad and hurt.

Sorry to hear about all the bad news. I hoped things would cheer up once the sun started to thaw us out. I am still feeling sick despite completing my z pack of antibiotics. I am coughing stuff up and my nose is running. My throat is hurting from all the coughing. I am not getting much sleep this way. Don got a new schedule from work finally. He has 3 days off a week now. works 2 days and 2 nights. He is so happy not to be working 7 nights for 12 hours. He finished the repairs on my motorcycle and now is finishing up the maintenance on his. Next friday Jake is off school so we plan to go Dune buggy riding. He says he feels human again. I have also started packing because we are moving again. My inlaws have a rental house and the current family is moving out so they offered it to us at a great price. I have a 20 min presentation to do wed at school. Also missed class so I am doing some extra studying to catch up. With us moving Jake will need to go to a different school. So we started looking at private schools and we put an application into a special public school program not actually thinking he would get into it because it is very competitive. I received a letter yesterday saying he did get in. So we won't have to spend the money for private and he will get a better education. The program focuses on math, science and technology. The school has a ton of comuputers for the children to use. This school is the hardest one to get into cause there are so many more applicants at this one. Anyway it was very good news for us.
