Info on Dr. Joya or Dr. Sanchez in Mexico??

Has anyone had thier Band surgery done either by Dr. Joya in Puerta Vallarta or Dr. Sanchez in Monterrey??? I am getting a date for next month, but I am torn between the two doctors. Both seem good...after much research. But I would like to hear from people who have actually experienced the procedure to help make my choice.

Thank you!!!!

My wife and I had surgery 1 year ago by Dr. Sanchez. We were very happy with the Doctor and his staff. The Hospital was as nice as ones in the US.

I am going to Dr. Sanchez on the 28th. I will personally be able to tell you more afterwards. I have spoken on the phone to several people that have gone to Monterrey and had it done with Dr. Sanchez, and they were very helpful and recommended him highly. Basically I learned that it is done in a top notch, modern, extremely nice and sterile, etc.. large medical hospital there. The staff is very attentive and professional. The aftercare is always tricky if you go to Mexico, (finding fill drs.) I am lucky enough that it is 4 hours on a bus, $36 round trip, to Monterrey for me. I only chose Sanchez because I know a lady that went to him and had the opportunity to speak to several others. I will also be checking back to see what others here have to say about both!!! Good luck!
