Favorite Mushie Food Item/Recipe

I'm looking forward to starting mushie foods this Friday and have little idea what to eat at that time. Does anyone have any favorite mushie recipe/food item to share?

Many thanks...first time poster.

My fave is Low Fat or skim ricotta, tomato sauce (plain or flavored) and low/no fat mozzarella, some garlic and mix it all up and microwave it. It is very flavorful. I opened an ala vodka sauce instead of tomato by mistake and it is yummy too, although more caloric...

Just a tip: I was eating ground chicken with low fat gravy just fine. A few weeks in it wouldn't go down. The PA said that sometimes nuked meat (especially poultry) can get rubbery and hard to get down.

I also LOVE Hormel 98% fat free turkey chili with some FF cheddar.

I really enjoy no sugar added applesauce, w/low fat cottage cheese. And I like FF beans, canned chicken(ididnt hv a problem w/it) and salsa all mixed together. Good luck!!

Thanks, Ladies. after 4 weeks of liquids these things all sound yummy.

Good luck to you as well.

Wow....4wks??? I think I'd lose my mind. I guess every doctor is different because I was allowed to move on to mushies 1-2wks post op. I couldn't wait for my 1wk mark....I feel so satisfied not that I can eat something that actually fills me up!

I put chicken and broth in a food processor and had mashed sweet potatoes with it.....was sooooo good!
