  1. I just got mine yesterday 2 1/2 weeks post-op.
  2. Thanks, Bill! Your ideas sound yummy and I'm happy to forego the rice.......just the thought of a nice piece of sashimi after 4 weeks of liquids........:scared2::confused:
  3. Thanks for the input, everyone. Doesn't sound too promising for my sushi fix on Friday!!!
  4. I'm very excited to start mushies on Friday and was craving sushi...the simple kind with about a tablespoon of Japanese rice and a piece of Tuna on top. Does this count as 'mushie' food? Does anyone have any experience eating this.....I'm wondering if it's well tolerated or if the rice, in particular, is an issue. Thanks!
  5. Thanks, Ladies. after 4 weeks of liquids these things all sound yummy. Good luck to you as well. Tina
  6. I had to do 2 weeks liquid diet before surgery and 2 weeks after. Recommend you try the Premiere brand Protein shakes from costco. Ready mixed, tastes a bit like Carnation chocolate Milk. 30 g protein, 160 calories. It's over before you know it....you can do it!!!
  7. I'm looking forward to starting mushie foods this Friday and have little idea what to eat at that time. Does anyone have any favorite mushie recipe/food item to share? Many thanks...first time poster.
