My goal is 100 lbs also. I have 23 lbs to go and 40 to get to my goal weight! (my ticker is wrong, but I don't want to add back on 10 lbs). I currently hit a snag though. I have been too tight for the last 2 months and doc took out a lot of Fluid saying My pouch needs a rest from being swollen. Now I have NO restriction! :crying:

I am having trouble limiting myself, just like in the old days w/o the band! I am trying very hard though! I would love to lose 23 lbs by January! I go in for an adjustment on Nov 16th, so that's a whole month on my own.

Good luck to you both on your journies. I will keep you in my prayers.

My goal is to take off 100 pounds by my bandiversary but I don't think it's going to happen. I have lost 70 pounds and I have until January 20th to lose 30 more pounds. That is just not realistic. Not at this stage in the game.

I still have about 200 pounds to lose so this journey is far from over.

Hi!

my goal was to loose 100Lbs in 1 year, but unfortunately, I didn't exercise, which I think is entirely the reason that I didn't attain my goal.

During the Xmas holiday, I went to Disney, and we walked around 6-8 hours a day, and even though I ate alot, I managed to loose 5 pounds in just a week, which really convinced me how important exercise it. Unfortunately, on my return I got sick for a month, so was not able to jump start my exercise routine. I will be starting tonight...treadmill 3 times a week, hoping that this will help me accelerate the weight loss.

I must say however, that I am really pleased by my present success, even if I didn't reach my goal. I know that it's all possible, the success is all within my own hands.

I have alot of restriction, and manage to eat all kinds of good stuff, but have had to give up alot of food, which I'm okay with (well except maybe for the sushi). I still eat chocolate, but with moderation, so things are good.

It seems like 100lbs was the goal for most people for the 1 year bandiversary. My overall goal was to be at 175lbs. I started at 262. Well, I have already passed that and now dont want to stop. I have lost 104lbs so far and am just over my 1 year. I am currently at 158 and would like to get to 145 at the smallest.

I have been working out with a personal trainer for the last year and I know that i wouldnt be where I am without him.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
