Has anyone used acai berry (pill form) to boost weight loss?

I recently ordered acai berry capsules to boost my weight loss. I just started it today, so has anyone tried this yet and had any results or have I fell victim once again to something that seems to good to be true? You are also supposed to use a colon cleanse with it for full benefits, but I have not received that yet.

I haven't tried it, but I was just looking over the Acai Powder (you add into at bottle of water like crystal light) in Costco last. I was SERIOUSLY considering buying it...still am. I too would like to know if it works.

I actually purchased some before getting my band but haven't used it. I'm afraid to try to swallow the capsules now that I have restriction.

I wish I remember the girl's name on LBT, but she was asked by an acai rep to buy her before and after pictures for their ads. Not that she'd even ever used acai (she lost her weight with the aid of a lap band). It could be just one dishonest rep, but I tend to doubt it. If the product was as good as it says, why would they willing to buy pictures (although, the girl was gorgeous) from someone who didn't even use their product? I think it's a scam.

I'm with Kiz - i don't believe the validity of this product. If it truly did as it advertised, you'd see it at least as much as you see info on the lap band, if not more. I have a feeling this will go the way of Phen Phen before long.

But this is my own personal opinion. If you do try it and it helps, please let us know!

i personally have never tried it...my best friend was on it and had constant and UNCONTROLLABLE (which i witnessed with my own eyes standing in line at ralphs) diaherra...horrible!!!!

I've used the acai pills along with the colon cleanse stuff. Made me potty an awful lot and I ddin't see any weight loss. I've seen on The Doctors where the whole acai berry is a great antioxidant, but for weight loss - I doubt it. I wouldn't waste my money.

BTW, if you got the pills for really cheap (or even free) on the internet, they have a scam. Read the fine print. If you don't cancel your pills in 14 days (I didn't even get mine within the 14 days), they will bill you monthly and send them to you whether you want them or not. And they're not cheap (like $70)

Good luck!

Marci

I can't remember the name if the Doc that is always on Oprah, but he says it is a scam. I just saw this recently.

Sorry!!!
