Dr. Douglas Krahn did my lap-band surgery in April 2009, and I have enjoyed being his patient.His bedside manner is very comfortable, and he is dedicated to each patient to make the band work to the best of it's ability. I have lost 70 pounds since my surgery, and he has always been so good at guiding me in the right direction diet wise. I HIGHLY recomend him if you are considering having lap-band surgery in the Inland Empire. His staff is incredible, and I get excited when I have an appointment because I love seeing all his staff and meeting new fellow lap-banders.

Hi Folks-

My wife is in the process of getting the Lap-Band with Dr. Krahn. However, she is having trouble finding a psychiatrist or psychologist that will do a bariatric psych evaluation. We have Blue Cross-Blue Shield. If anyone can recommend someone, please let me know.

They have one in the office to do your psych. Ask them- that's who did mine.

i live in Ontario and just found this thread. who's the best doctor in the area?

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Krahn but this thread needs to be corrected in regards to his location. He is in San Bernardino- NOT Rancho Cucamonga.
