Hey there! My surgery is also 10/14 and I am having a hard time with the pre-op diet. After day two I had such a sever migraine I had to go get a shot! I cannot miss any work b/c of next week!

What can you have on your pre-op diet?

We can do it!!!! :)

My partner just finished her diet, and she had to take off from work.

Yeah im struggling I keep finding myself cheating taking bites of food here and there. I havent ate any meals or anything, but as im feeding my son I take bites some days. This is my 4th day and all I can have is soup broth, carnation or other protein shakes water crystal light that's it and this is not right at all.

I agree, this is extremely hard. I can't shake this headache. I started my pre op diet on Monday. Surgery on 10/19. Constantly feels like I have a stomach ache and I was very gaggy this morning while brushing my teeth. This is probably all because I never let myself get hungry before. All new sensations but I'm sick of the shakes -- that's for sure! I'm also too scared to weigh myself -- I'm waiting until I weigh in prior to surgery.

I am so excited for you all. Next week I will be going through the same thing w/ the headaches and all (I know IT). But the excitement of finally getting the surgery - - wowowow. Think about how you will feel in 2-3 months?

I am praying that I can do the pre-op with no sneaking.... I've heard the first few days are the hardest. Good Luck you guys, you are going to get though this wonderfully!

nevah mind...starting a new post so I don't derail thread.
