For those that got fills at 2-3 weeks Post-op and followup??'s

How did they fill you? My Dr. may want to fill me at 2 weeks post-op but my incision, where the port is, has a nice scab over the entire thing.

Also....followup appointment today. Can you think of any questions that you did not ask that you wish you did.

Thanks!!:frown:

Hi,

I have not had a fill yet, but at my follow-up appt., my surgeon showed me where my port is. He says the port does not actually sit under the incision, it is always either a little to the left/right or below it. Specific placement is surgeon preference. Your scab on the actual incision shouldn't be a factor.

Good luck!

They don't go in through the incision so it is not a problem.
