It feels like a cotton ball in my throat

I was banded almost 6 weeks ago and for the last two weeks I've felt like there was a cotton ball stuck in my throat. It's not difficult to swallow it's really just annoying. Has anyone else had this or know what it is?

i actually do understand what you are saying. i have had that feeling but not continually for 2 weeks. its the feeling i get when food hasnt completely gone down but its not stuck to the point of where i'll slime or pb. but the feeling usually passes on its own or with a little help from some papaya enzyme chewable pills. they have them at walmart.
