December 2009 Bandsters

I'm sure that I am probably ahead of time, but I thought I would start scanning for others who have a surgery date in December this year.

My surgery date is December 4th, 2009. :smile2:

I'm extremely excited and very afraid. I'm lucky to have a lot of supportive people around me. I think it will be interesting to find out what foods I can/can't eat. Can't wait to start dropping the sizes. I'm so very glad I have air conditioning at my flat considering it will be Summer when I have it done.

I'll be eating baby food at Christmas, but oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Let me know how you other December bandsters are feeling

Hi!

Looks like quite a few of us share the same band date. The 4th here as well.

Please join the group and see how many others share our date or week.

My surgery is set for 12/29/09, so you guys totally have to keep me updated on what to expect. No fun food at Christmas though T_T

Most of us December Bandsters struggled through Thanksgiving on liquid diets. Christmas will be a little easier since there are more activities than eating.

If you havn't already checked it out there are a few other December Bandster threads that have good prep info.

The posters in the group have promised to give regular updates.

very supportive community.

Me too! Dec.4th

My weight was 234 at pre op so I will change it to my surgery day weight in after Friday.

Hi, im Ms Diva banded 12-22-09 I was just wondering about who out there does'nt mind saying or even remember how much weight they lost at two weeks after surgery. I dont get filled til 1-19-10 but if seems people are losing a lot of weight early but im just at 11 pounds.HELP am I doing something wrong?

Ms. Diva, you are not doing bad. Everyone is different. I am at 17 pounds and am getting my first fill today. I am hoping the weight starts coming off quicker after my fill. Just think it is 11 pounds you had 2 wks ago that you dont have now. Another thing is even though I have lost only 17 pounds I feel so much better, my snoring has stopped! and my clothes fit much better. be proud and good luck. We are just beginning our journey!
