Why isn't this working?

I had my surgery 1/2007 and I am not even close to my goal weight. I have had fills, unfills and still can't find the "sweet spot" that everyone talks about. I feel like a failure and am desperate to figure out why I have stayed the same weight for so long. Any suggestions?

Getting good restriction is important, and eating the right foods is also important. Why can't you get good restriction? Is something wrong with your band? you do know that as you lose, and sometimes just "over time" you lose restriction? It too me 7 fills and 1 unfill to get to my sweet spot. When did you give up? What are you eating?

I get a fill and it seems like I can't eat anything. I just keep getting stuck and then I end up having to get an unfill because my stoma is so irritated. It's so frustrating! I had this idea that I would have reached my goal weight by now. I think I will go into my doc's office and see what they think there.
