Nervous about surgery 09-24

I'm on my pre-op diet and now that my procedure is getting closer, I'm getting more nervous-excited, but nervous. :)

Hi. I just had my surgery 2 weeks ago today, 9-8-09, and it was one of the easier surgeries I've had. It's a breeze compared to knee surgery. I think it's probably normal to be a tad nervous anytime you are preparing to let somebody carve on your carcass, but to me, the anticipation is always worse than the actual surgery. You'll do great I am sure.

I'm having surgery on 9/24 too! I'm so nervous and excited I have butterflies! Now its crunch time, getting things together for after surgery. Just filled my prescriptions today and will be going shopping for liquids to drink post-op!

Good luck girl we'll do great!

Thanks-I'm sure everything will be fine too. Just got back from my pre op appointment and got all of my questions answered. I feel alot better now and am ready to get it done!

We have to touch base with each other periodically to check progress!!

Good luck!!:bored:

Good Luck!!!

Thanks. I think I've moved past the nervousness to excitement. I can't wait to get the ball rolling. :tongue2:

Nervous is very normal. I had my band 5 months ago and the day before the surgery, I thought about canceling it too. I am glad I didn't and I wish I've it done long time ago.

Good luck to everyone that is going to have surgery. Let's know how you are doing :tongue2:
