Calorie Intake

i need to know if this is normal or have you experienced it. i will be calling the docs office tomorrow as well.

i had a pineapple juice for b-fast because i have a sensation in my throat and had a very lite lunch. i have not eaten anything since. its now after 10 and im just now hungry but of course i dont want to eat so late.

so question is do you think its normal? i know we are supposed to eat less but this seems like starving to me. im not hungry though.

like i said im calling the doc to ask as well but just wanted to ask ya'll too.

thx in advance

I think to not be hungry one day is no big deal, any more than being hungrier than usual one day is no big deal. We're human, our hormones fluctuate, etc. If you consistently aren't hungry then I'd say you have a problem. My appetite varies from day to day but I always eat or have a protein shake regardless.

Have a protein shake. It will keep you from waking in the night and being hungry. Everyone is different. If it persists, call your doctor.

I don't have much of an appetite. I haven't yet felt as hungry or as ravenous as I used to be prior to surgery. I do drink protein water and shakes to make sure that I get my protein in and I eat several small meals per day.
