How quickly did you schedule surgery after insurance approval?

I started this journey on 6/4/09 and I just found out I got approved on 9/11!! I am due to talk to the office and schedule surgery this week. My question is, how quickly were you able to get your surgery done after approval. I have a wedding to attend on 10/24 so I would like to have surgery on 10/1 or 10/2. I am just wondering if that is too much to hope for. Thanks for the help!:tongue2:

I think Dr Antonetti is booked way farther away than that, but you can hope for a cancellation. It took me 6 weeks after insurance approval to get a surgery date.

Called twice today with no return phone call, so frustrating. I am thinking of just going to the office tomorrow to set the surgery. Did they make you do a 4 week pre surgery diet or was your wait time due to his schedule. I am wondering what their pre-op diet is like, I have already started doing a "liver shrinking diet" so hopefully that will help. Thanks for your help!
