Hey Girls.

Jenn, Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Kat, Sorry eveyone is sick. Hope Kinsey doesn't have a rough time with it.

I'm so glad my bout with the flu is over and I hope that I don't come down with anything else. So far other that muscle aches from doing firewood and falling, everyone is doing ok. I'm really surprised that we all didn't come down with flu last week when I had it.

Had a lot of running around to do this morning. We still need to go vote. There is only one issue on the ballot and it has to do with extending the drug tax.

Cats are in and out today. The sun is shining but it is on the cool side.

I was finally able to make a hair appointment. When I called Ann I told her I needed to come in and get my mop taken care of. She wanted to know when I could do it. I looked at the calender and I have no free time till next week on Wednesday. The Doc's office juts called and they want me to come in for a med check. Now I got to figure out when I can do that. I thought when I retired that things were going to slow down some. I'm more busier now. LOL.

Tracy

OMG....yesterday I did not watch Y and R... I will have to watch it on the computer..... Victor leaving....bet the show ratings will drop

Well, yesterdays episode was not as tear jerking as last Thurs or Fri. when he was making a video for Abby and it showed clips from old shows when he was young and how he got started. I cried myself sick. I creied at yesterdays too but ainly because I didnt know if I would ever see him on there again and how much that show meant to me & my dad. Of course they left it open for Victor to come back, and in the past few shows he talked about 'when I come back', so I guess maybe one day. The thing I don't understand is that Nikki left with him and I thought she had resigned her contract a few months ago? I will have to see what I can find out about that. I knew he was leaving but I did not know she was too. Maybe hers is just temporary? I will investigate.

Hey Girls.

Cats are in and out today. The sun is shining but it is on the cool side.

I miss my cat. I dont know if you remember me having to put him to sleep. Anyway, I havent missed the cat hairor hairballs, but I miss having HIM. I asked how much our pet fee here is and she told me 3 hundred non refundable dollars.

Suzanne-way to go for not getting the second helping. It is so hard to turn something down after 1 serving! That is great!

Jen-I feel bloated too. I still have not started tom yet and it was supposed to be last weekend. The good news of that is I am still fluctuating just 1 pound...so that is good  How is ds and dd?

:seeya:HI EVERYONE!

Could not get on LBT last night!

Kinsey and Manda are miserable, but so far not getting a lot worse, and breathing is still ok. I have not spoke with her this morning, hoping she is sleeping in.

We have our firewood in, as well as the kids, and my inlaws. One more load---we are bringing in for my parents. My Dad worked all summer bringing wood from the family farm, but Rick thinks he needs a big load of cedar to finish him out, so we will do that when Rick gets back from Texas.

As the time for him to leave gets closer, I get grouchier, and more depressed. I have not spoke to his family, and have no intentions of doing so for fear of saying something I will never be able to take back.....inconsiderate asses that they are!!! Yeah something like that!!!

We have our last regularly scheduled softball game tonight. At 8:30. We will have a couple of tournaments, and we have 2 make up games to fit in. Unless they plan to change the way they are scheduling things, we won't play next year....we say now. In November, 9:30 games are just way too late and way too cold! The players are cold and getting hurt, and kids can't be up that late, so it is no longer a family activity, it sucks! There are many, many fields not being used.....but this keeps the cost down they say.....I don't buy it! If there are X amount of games to play, you spend the same $$$ on lighting fields, and paying umps, and everything regardless whether they are done 2 nights a week or 3----and earlier as opposed to later----it is still the same X amount of games. But unless I want to be on the board, I guess I shut up or put up!!! They will just do it minus our $50.00.

Well, Rick is leaving on Friday. Expect to see a lot of me! You have no idea how close I come to quitting my job!!! LOL

Well I need to get my left over Chinese (almond chicken) ready to go for my lunch. Will check in sometime tonight---probably before the game, when we get home it is shower and bed!

Tracey, sometimes we get hooked on something for the most unlikely of reasons. No worries dear, you can miss Victor Newman all you like. We’ll still love ya! J

I’m sorry about your kitty. I’ve found myself having to do that before too, and I just hate even thinking about it. I have 6 right now. They’re all abandoned and recued… and SPOILED!!! LOL

Hey thanks for the SPOILER!! I haven’t watched BL yet.. hehe. J

Jenn, hope you feel better soon!

Kat, wishing you all the best.

Suzie, that is so funny you should mention how you get busier once you retire. My Dad has said that before, and now my Mom just retired a few days ago. She hasn’t had a moments rest since!

As for myself, well I did get a .25cc fill yesterday. I feel absolutely jazzed and fantastic! I have NOT thought about food since! Wow, maybe they can band your brain? LOL A small amount fills me up and carries me through. The only problem is now I have to remember to get my fruit/veggie Snacks in between there. I don’t think I’ve had one serving since. L Not too good.

Tomorrow I’m taking a business trip to Ft. Bragg to witness the “Fish Ladders” Ceremony. I helped in getting that construction off the ground as far as starting up the contract. It should be fun! I’m going with my good friend here, who actually finished up the contract process. It’ll be nice to get away for the day. Then I have Friday off! So yay me! I so love this time of year. It’s always so laid back. J

Have a fabulous day ladies!!

Everyone-this may sound rediculous, but i am in mourning...I have watched Young & the Restless since I was 13 years old and yesterday was Victor Newmans last episode. I feel like I have lost a dear friend. Maybe someday he will come back. Let me explain a little more...I have so many fond memories of my dads last days he was alive. He really got hooked on the show during his illness. He called the show 'Victor Newman'. He would never miss it. I also have memories of when I was younger, watching the show with my mom. I sound pathetic...let me stop here. lol

Have a great day <3

I have watched the show since the very begining, wayyyyyy back when I was a little kid with my step mom. :-) So nope not ridicules. I did read something abut Victor only being gone for 1 month, he did indeed renegoriate his contract. I also loved loved all the flashbacks, especially when he and Nikki were first together. :-)

I got my fill to 1.0 and I can eat a 6" from subway. Gosh that sandwich was good. It was on 9 grain wheat, turkey, mustard and vinegar & veggies. Oh My! I am so happy you are happy with your fill!

TY Tracy----not going to be around as much as I planned. Doing some soul searching. DH wants me to quit my job. Days like today that thought is sooooo appealling, but I also doubt it is a wise move. So.....gonna be sitting back thinking.

Will keep you posted.

We have a game here in a few, and it is dark and cold and the series game is on, and we really don't wanna go!

BB Soon

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
