Recommended Posts

I went back to delete the post about my sis, and it's disappeared. Have I gone crazy now?!

I see it on page 228

Pam, The best advice I could give you is go anyway (to WW)...it's the accountability...and chances are you will be pleasantly surprised...with a loss....or not having as big a gain as you think....

Mae.. If I weighed in on Saturday, can I weigh in again this Wednesday?? Otherwise I can't go until we get back next week and that will be way over a week's time.

YES!! The new WW week starts on Sunday, so definitely-you may not have another 4.5 loss.....but...

Now you may have to wait until Saturday to track your weight on Etools...or just do the tracking when you get back...

Oh, I definitely don't expect another loss like that! I'll be happy to stay the same or maybe lose 1/2 a pound... anything as long as it's not a gain.

Thanks for the info, Mae!

Well it sound like everyone is all set for this weekend!

I have an early morning (for me) meeting in the morning.

If I don't post in the morning I will be gone all day to work and then to manicure.

I have done good on this diet, I wanted to be down about ten more pounds by the wedding, don't think that will happen, but that is okay, close enough. I wanted to be where I was when I saw you guys in Alabama. I don't think you will notice about 5 or 10 pounds. I think you guys will notice the fact that my hernia on my right side is back and is sticking out and sort of looks like a big tumor growing out of my right side. It is not as bad as the visual you are seeing though.........

Alright, off to do some errands before bed.

Waiting at hosp for blood work... always a fun way to start the day! Will swing by the mall on the way home to look for anything that strikes my fancy in the clothing/shoe department.

Doc doubled my happy pills & recommended therapy so I can vent/"learn new coping skills"... maybe...

Enjoy the day!

Jane, does that hurt? I am just so excited to see your face and relax w/ the girls.

Is there a pool at the hotel and are we bringing the suits? Uggg...but oh well, I will rock a suit for you all! That's how we do it at the Denny's Corporation!!!

Long day. I have a mtg at 2pm and at 4pm. The 4pm one is at home, a teleconference for Walden...should be completely boring. THEN I get to finish working for Walden. I haven't packed a thing, but my brain is busy and I've made a list!

OK...pop in later. I'll save some time for this afternoon to check all my emails :scared2::wink::cheers2::wink::party:

xoxoxoxo

Good morning, Violets..

Woke up to a clogged sink this morning. Bob is on his way to get something to fix it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Janie... the Bobster has a belly button hernia that REALLY sticks out. You two can compare!!

Off to find some Breakfast and then get started on laundry. I have a PMS luncheon today a noon and need to make some chocolate mousse. Going to be very tempting, but it would be 11 WW points and no way am I giving those up for one serving!!

Everyone have a great day!!!

Ready for this weekend?! HARDLY!! I am still stressing about being gone for 3 days. I haven't begun to think about packing. I printed out mapquest to&from everywhere I will be going to&from, and organized that.. got my tickets printed out and the car rental confirmation.. But packing, haven't thought about that yet.. I meant to get some jewelry to go with the dress for the wedding, and never got around to it. Doubt I'll have time this week now.

At daycare this morning, they said a kid in Carson's class has a confirmed case of H1N1!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see it now, he gets everything that goes around, Thursday he's going to get H1N1 and then I can't go. Want to take bets?!

What's worse, I heard them bitching about it last night (before they knew it was H1N1), apparently it's a stay at home mom, who was still sending her VERY sick kid to daycare!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
