Hi Diva and Scorpio,

I think you are right about the Protein shakes...solid food would probably be better with the band.

I followed the food plan on Tuesday...didn't on Wednesday...but I refuse to give up. Diva you really keep me focused. I think I will make that taco Soup tomorrow (Wednesday). I will check in tomorrow.

Oh you will love the taco soup!

I actually made a mistake with the points for the pouch tuna. It's actually only 1 point!! Yippeee!! So that is a good mistake, no?

I ate 26 points yesterday all! I did really good. ...and today is a new day :w00t:

How is everyone else doing?? Hanging in there? Getting your workouts in? Drinking enough Water? ? We can do this... WE REALLY CAN!! :blushing:

Ok, I messed up this week. Everyday, I say I am going to be good today, and somehow I mess it up at the end of the day. Its always at night. I think I am going to actually join, maybe that will help me stay motivated. I love reading these posts, they really make me want to follow this, I love the ww plan. I originally lost 60 following it a few years ago.

I'm so glad! I was wondering what happened to you! :blushing:

That is smack in the middle of what you should lose. Feel good about that! Never get in the mindset that you aren't measuring up when you are. That leads to failure feelings, and I think we all know where that leads to from there. You are doing awesome!

As for me this week, I didn't gain and I didn't lose. I'm still at 252 but I've lost another 2 inches! It's coming off, just not showing up on the scale yet.

When I'm lying on my back I can actually feel my ribs and my tummy is so flat! Wow, I wish it would stay like that when I'm standing up!! LMAO!

I think I'm going to start posting here again what I'm eating like I used to. It really helps me to stay on track. I'm making it a point to do 24 points per day up through Friday. I'd really like to see a drop on the scale on Saturday!!

How is everyone else???? Where my girls at????

Just checking in Ms. Diva. Today was my weigh day and I stayed the same. I've lost 4 lbs in 4 weeks. Not great, but I'll take it! I went to an exercise class last Wednesday that almost killed me. I'll go back this week for more punishment! My legs were so sore I could hardly walk.

I ate all my points plus 5 per day in an effort to see if that would make me lose some weight. It didn't, but I still may not be out of the starvation mode yet. I got up this morning thinking I was going to eat less points, but at this point, I'm confused.

Take care and everyone have a good Weight Watchers week!

Hello

I am new to this site and had lapband surgery in NY. I was successful because I am a longtime follower of Weight Watchers.

My blog explains my journey and when I can figure out how to add the ticker at my signature then I will be OK.

I used to belong to the AOL groups for WW also,

I now eat little portions as required by my nutritionist but would love to join this group.

Thanks :blushing:

Laura

china, you did really good. Don't be too hard on yourself! Life's gotta have a few goodies here and there, or we will go looking for it and too much of it. You stayed at a reasonable level. For that be proud!

I just called the WW 800 # and this is what I found

IN NY (my zip)...$39.95/month which would be the second month..your first month would be free...B1g!F

Each area codes have different rules so you have to find it you are in the franchise group (me) or an independent distributor.

Hope this helps everyone :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
