I was told to wait 2 years after my surgery to get pregnant and my 1 year is coming up in a few weeks. Just wondering if anyone on this board has had a pregnancy with a band? How was it?

A childhood friend of mine got pregnant a little over a year after being banded. She's the one who first piqued my interest in lapband. She delivered a healthy baby boy a few months ago, and she didn't have any complications that I know of. I do believe, though, that her doc unfilled her so she could eat enough nutrition for her and the baby.
