Okay, what would you do (preop diet related)

Okay, I work nights, 7 pm to 3 a.m. or later sometimes. My preop liquid diet starts the 27th. So, would you start it directly at midnight OR would you start it after you go to bed and then wake up? Might be a dumb question, but I was curious.

If you normally eat dinner or a meal when you get home from work, I think I would start it when you get outta bed.. But thats me.. Of course, you should ask your doctor, but being these diets normally start 2 weeks pre-op, I find it hard to believe that a couple of hours would make a difference..

Good luck!!!!

You have a great point. I think I will start it when I get up in the a.m.)

my liquid pre-op diet was only for 2 days but if yours is longer I don't see why waiting till you wake up will be any big deal.
