I don't care: A Michael Jackson Rant

Recommended Posts

I think the biggest sham MJ was able to pull on people was this "Peter Pan" image, this little boy-man facade that was pure bull. Sex abusers are master manipulators, and he was no different -- except that he was able to add his fame and fortune to the mix in order to either buy off parents or buy his freedom.

If it walks like a molester and talks like a molester and acts like a molester, IT'S A MOLESTER.

If anybody who's standing beside MJ put your creepy neighbor down the street in the place of him and said the creepy neighbor has sleepovers with other people's children (and I think a LOT of these sleepovers were either before he had his own, or when his own [bought] children were very young), if the creepy neighbor was feeding them "Jesus juice" (wine), if the creepy neighbor had a yard just ripe for attracting young children, if the creepy neighbor had security cameras outside his bedroom and a secret room off the bedroom where he would go with these children... the creepy neighbor would be a molester. However, somehow put this fake boy-man in the same position and he's innocent as the pure-driven snow.

I don't understand where people's brains go when celebrity is involved in so many questionable instances.

Ok..farm girl here. Had to turn my radio on to hear the farm market report. Caught the news..MJ's body is going to be in a 2 mile procession to Neverland and be laid for public reviewal sometime next week. WTH...something is tragically wrong with this picture. Not only has his death gotten waaaaaaaaaaaay too much air time but you can bet there will be memorial services, etc. that could match any U.S. President's or the pope

That is pretty crazy, but I think they did something similar with James Brown...?

James Brown was MJ's "idol".

Funny you should put it that way..... Back in the early/mid '80's, right after "thriller", MJ was slated to play Peter Pan in a live-action Film version of the story. It was going to be done at the studio where I worked, I saw all the paperwork on it, and read through a prelim script. I'm not sure whatever happened to it. Many, many projects like that get so close to shooting, but are killed for some reason at the last minute.

Anyway.....I thought it was interesting, your choice of words....

He often compared himself to Peter Pan. However, I'm not falling for it.

Yep...you can bet there was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ involved with the aquisition of these children. I thought it was put out there a couple of days ago that the two older children are NOT biologically his and that the younger one was adopted.

I am laying in wait for the abused to come out of the woodwork to confirm what we already know. Not sure how that works with the "under the table" settlement if they are ever allowed to go public with it?????

The second wife gave birth to the 2 others, after being artificially insimanated with donor sperm. she said they had NEVER consumated thier marriage. after a tramatic delivery with the last child, it left her unable to have anymore children that MJ wanted nothing more to do with her so they divorced. he paid he to stay quiet and away, and she signed her rights to them away to MJ. She said she had never bonded with the children because she never felt as though they were hers anyhow. she felt like a surragate.

here is an aritcle:

Michael Jackson | Debbie Rowe | "Prince" Michael Joseph Jackson Jr | Paris Michael Katherine Jackson | children

Ahh...that explains a lot. I'm all for adoption, just not under these circumstances. Poor kids.

It's so interesting how many people have been abused. In my own family, I was (a friend of the family from the time I was 5 until about 7, and then later again once by my mom's uncle.) I found out later that my mom was, her sister, my grandmother, and who knows who else!? It's sick! What the hell is wrong with people?

I've always said that if anything like that happened to DD, I'd torture the bastard, then end him. The body would never be found, and I'd never look back. The damage that is left in the wake of these a$$holes leaves me disgusted and, yeah...full of hot red hate. I wouldn't want the jerk in jail. I'd want him dead.

And, generally, I'm a happy chick. I love life, and I love my life. I have bumps like everyone else - but overall, I think I've put a lot of the past behind me and moved on.

But a sicko like that? Just the thought of someone doing to DD what was done to me, and I snap inside. I can easily picture MJ being creepy and doing things he shouldn't. Perhaps I'm projecting my own experiences, but there is no way in hell I'd let DD sleep in the same bed as a grown man - or woman even.

You know what, Hon....if we took a poll on LBT only, I bet we would find waaaaaaaaay more sexually abused ppl than we ever thought could be congregated on one site. It's a well known fact that a lot of eating disorders are attributed to sexual abuse.

So sorry for you and all who have been preyed upon by sick minded pediphiles (sp?). I see your anger and I can match that. I understand completely where you are coming from. Give me a hollar if you ever need help. I carry a big stick!:P

Gloucester, I am with you on this. He may have been a great musical artist and performer, but the most likely true accusations against him far overshadow that, in my opinion. My children are too precious to me and I would have never allowed them to be in that circumstance.

My parents have been friends with another couple since they all went to high school together. That is over fifty years. About twelve years ago, they suddenly stopped hearing from them. My dad was finally able to talk to the wife and she broke down in tears to him. She volunteered at an elementary school and one day they had a police officer in, who happened to be a good friend of theirs, to do a talk with the children regarding good touch and bad touch. The next day, the same police officer showed up at her door. She thought it was a social visit. Turns out he was there to arrest her husband. After the presentation, a little girl, six years old, approached the police officer and told her the man next store had been "bad touching" her. It was my parent's friend. The little girl lived next door to them. He admitted to doing it and spent only eighteen months in jail as a "first time" offender. He said the reason he did it was because he had retired and was bored. I didn't buy that one bit. At sixty years of age I refuse to believe you retire, find yourself bored and think, "hey, I am going to go molest my little six year old neighbor." I was working for a psychiatric hospital at the time and discussed this with several of the doctors there. General concensus was this was just the first time he ever got caught.

After all this, my parents decided to remain friends with them and support them. His wife stayed with him. When my daughter was six, my parents informed me they were coming down from Michigan to visit and wanted us to come over for dinner and spend time with them. Having a six year old daughter and an eight year old son, I refused. My mother was absolutely livid with me. She said I was being terribly unsupportive of a long time family friend. No matter how angry she was with me, it didn't matter. I am a parent and my job first and foremost is to protect my children. If I had taken my children around a man who I know is a convicted child molester, I would have failed my children as their parent.

Eventually, my father and I had lunch and he came around to my side of things. I told him, what about all the times we sat there watching the news about these kind of people and you said there would be no trial or jail time because you would kill anyone who did that to your children or grandchildren? Just because the person who did it was a long time family friend, he should be forgiven. What about that little girls parents, how do you think they feel?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
