Pain that goes from Band area to Throat?

I was banded June 9th and have not been able to do what I thought I would be able to do by now... I have a pain that starts at my band site and radiates up into my throat. It is not constant, but it is very uncomfortable and hurts pretty bad. Does anyone else have this problem?

Also, I thought I would be able to do more by now, I cant hardly leave my house without feeling bad/nauseous. When I get hot it is the worst and I happen to live in Texas so its always hot. I am really trying to take in more fluids to help... any other suggestions?

Thanks!!
