I'm always cold... I'm so cold it seems from the inside out. Everyone around me is now boiling and I'm freezing my butt off. Could it be more than loosing weight? Maybe I'm lacking a Vitamin ?

I lost a whole size and went from wide width to regular in my shoes. My boobs left and I'm always cold now but I'm not complaining!

I am always cold all the time too. I lost my boobs:crying:. oh well cant have it all I guess. Too bad we cant pick the places we want to lose the weight.

on the good side.... I have lost exactly 80 pounds since the date I called to schedule to be banded. I was 308 in oct 2008 and tonight I weighed in at 228:thumbup:

I have gone down a full shoe size!!!

My son can put his arms around me --- I will NEVER forget the day he did that for the first time!

None of my clothes fit me, and my pants seem much longer....

and the FUNNIEST of all.... I don't "punch" my husband anymore when I am putting on my seat belt... I used to have to stretch it out soooo far that sometimes I would smack him (accidentally...) The other day he said, "Look, you don't punch me anymore when you put on your seat belt!"

I finally recognized the distance between me and the steering wheel just the other day. And to think that my big old belly used to brush against it when I drove!

I've also lost one cup size and one shoe size. I've stopped buying shoes online because I can't figure out what size to order any more.

OMG! This post has me in tears -cracking up @ all the stories!

I can tell you ALL of these stories I have experienced!!!

I have shrunk, my pants have grown extra inches, My butt has shrunk, so I have had to move my seat up... clothes out the door( i have started to shop @ thrift stores for the simple fact that buying new clothes is breaking the bank!) but saddest of all is that the "girls" are getting to know my KNEES not just my belly button!!!

I had to change the seat settings to almost all the weight machines I occasionally use. I switched to free weights and one day I decided to use the machines, I set the seat to the proper number for the calves and could not reach the pedal thing - I had to lower it two numbers just to reach!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
