Friday Morning Weigh-In, May 1, 2009

I don't see a thread yet for this week, so I'll get us started.

After upping my calorie count to between 1350-1450 as suggested by The Daily Plate, I'm happy to report a loss this week!

Last week: 233.4

This week: 231.7

Loss of 1.7 lbs

TDP actually suggested 1625 calories a day, but I'm going to do another week at the level of this week and see what my results are.

OH!! I am now no longer morbidly obese - just plain old obese!! My BMI has dropped below 40 for the first time in many many years. Woo hoo!!

Great job, Misty!!!

Quick post this AM. Trying to get DD and I ready to head 3 1/2hrs to my mom's.

Friday: 182.3

Wednesday: 185.7 - I got hungry starting Sunday and the next few days turned in to a feeding frenzy til I got re-filled Wed AM.

Today: 183.4

So, technically I had a gain b/c I only COUNT Friday WIs BUT having gotten up so high by Wednesday, I'm okay with today's WI. I'll have to change my ticker later. I gotta get moving!

In case I can't check in, have a great weekend!!

Oh and doc filled me with 4cc! He'd left 1cc in at my emergency unfill. I seem to be doing okay.

Bye!!

I am still the same as last week. Over the weekend I gained a pound and then lost it during the week to come out even. I think I need to up my calories. I use the TDP also and I am always netting less 500 calories a day with exercise. I guess I need to eat more:tongue2:.

Last Friday, 207. This AM, 204.5. Dropped 2.5 lbs this week.

Hi all,

No loss this week but I have had a couple of victories. I didn't have a gain this week as I have come to expect (PMS). Also, I jogged over a mile (almost 1.5 miles) during my 3 mile walk yesterday. I have NEVER been able to do that. I have set a goal to do a 1/2 marathon in the Music City Marathon next April. I was inspired by the Biggest Loser TV show.

I have been disappointed in myself this week because I had gotten in the habit of doing TDP and it was helping but I haven't done it in a week. I rarely sat down at my computer for more than a couple of minutes all week.

See you next week with a loss! :)

Ladies,

Although I haven't been seeking support here since before and right after surgery, I'm now finding that I need to he held accountable to someone - so here goes....

Last Friday I was 187.

I'll start logging in weekly to report. My overall weight loss is at 80+ pounds, but has really begun to slow, so perhaps having to broadcast it each week will be a good thing for me.

I'm happy where I am now, a size 12 and no longer obese, just overweight, but I still don't particularly feel "healthy." I do have way more energy than ever before and hope that meeting with all of you weekly will help me to lose the weight and gain my health.

Welcome to the AllStars Lezlie! Wow, you have really done an awesome job so far - 80 pounds! You'll find that most of us have encountered those slow-downs by now. Some are still struggling while others have managed to break through the plateau. We help and support each other here through the good times and the hard times, so jump on in!
