I can eat cream of rice is sounds good when you been on liquids for a whole week. i just never heard of it. i was told it was rice with cream of mushroom soup in . please let me know cause im HUngry !!!!:laugh:

Cream of rice is a hot cereal. You can find it in the cereal aisle by the oatmeal. It's not that great but it is something different.

Never had the cream of rice but once I was able to get off of liquids and have soft foods I had fat free refried beans. I would get a little out and add water to make it creamier, I would had some shredded cheese and sour cream and that became my dream meal and very filling....

Very much like cream of wheat or malt o meal.

Yes it is a hot cereal. The rice with cream of mushroom soup sounds much better, but don't think rice would be a part of your diet this soon after surgery. I don't even eat rice now. Good luck to you!! Becky

I agree with MissBS .... white rice is something that a lot of people just can't tolerate. I'm sure it's the cream of rice cereal instead.
