I was told by dr today that my band needs to reajusted before it slip off hhe took all the fluid out and i have to wait 1 mth until he see me again has anyone had a slippage or reajustment done?

Do anyone know of a good dr that does the labband but is not expensive? maybe around 10,000 or less? I have a friend that is in need of one

I WAS BAND ON THE 21 OF APRIL LAST YEAR AND I LOST ABOUT 85 POUNDS SO FAR, I AM ASSUMING IT WAS GAS BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO EAT LASTNIGHT AND TONIGHT AND I GOING TO THE BATHROOM LIKE CRAZY CAUSE I WAS DRINKING PLENTY OF WATER AND TAKING GAS X STRIPS AND DRINKING CHOCOLATE MILK . please help me cause I dont know if i have blockage or Gas. I just know that im in pain badly OMG! it hurts under my arm in my back and side and THE TOP OF MY TUMMY. I cant eat,or drink anything,the last time this happend my band was to tight but, I havent had a fill since september.:devil: what are the sythoms and what can i do to ease the pain cause this is some real pain. thank you

here is the deal I got my first fill on june 2 2009 and i was given 2cc because i already had 2ccin the band which mean i have 4 cc total. i am still very hungry at time i am not getting full at all. is that the total amount that everyone gets or can i ask for more like 6 cc.i lostmore weight on the pre op diet then i did with my first fill.

I got my first fill yesterday and they gave me 4cc but after a hour of eating I was hungry again. is that normal because if its not i need to go back to the doctor,

I was banded on the 21th of april and i was on liquids for a week. i was staving so the dr told me to eat running grits and i did. he also stated that i can eat food that i dont have to chew so i ate mashed pototoes which is really good. this is my third week and i had fish, and stawberry and wip cream. i go to the doctor on wednesday im so scared that something happend to my band. cause the first week i use to feel like i had heart burn when i ate to much now i feel nothing when i eat.should i be worry

how can you tell if your band slipped or strectch or if tissues got into your band.

on my pre-op diet I didnt cheat cause i wanted my liver to shrink, the post -op diet Im not cheating I drunk liquids for about 4 days before i went to running grits this was the 1st weeks now im on the second week im eating grits still and mashed pototoes nothing else. if i get hungry i may eat a vienna but it mushy so i guess im doing okay. i would really kill for some meat right now.

I had the same problem that you are having except I had to Gain 15 pounds to put my bmi at 40 so what did i do.i went to walmart got me some 15 pounds weight and put on extra clothes put the weights in my pocket and bra. and it put me right at 40 and i was banded on the 21th of this month.

Im on liquids as well i was banded on the 21st of this month. i hate the chicken broth to so i buy chkn noddles soup and drain(campbell) it it so good and it feels me up. cause eating chkn broth is just like drinking water.:laugh: also on my full liquid diet starts tuesday i can have cream of wheat and thin girts and cream of rice. i can have caranation instant breaksfast drinks and proteint shakes ,strain cream soup, tomato soup are you sure you on a full liquid diet or just liquids

I can eat cream of rice is sounds good when you been on liquids for a whole week. i just never heard of it. i was told it was rice with cream of mushroom soup in . please let me know cause im HUngry !!!!:laugh:

I feel You I got banded on the 21st and I am so hungry liquids doesnt feel me up. I just want to say forget and take the band off.

WELL I HAVE MY SURGERY TOMMORROW:biggrin: AND I AM VERY NERVES:blink: I HATE BEING PUT TO SLEEP. I KNOW THAT I WILL DO REALLY WELL I CANT WAIT UNTIL THIS IS ALL OVER OMG!!!!! IM VERY EXCITED BUT AT THE SAME TIME SCARED:eek: OUT OF MY MINE . I DID HOW EVER LOSE 12 POUNDS ON THE PRE-OP DIET WHICH I CANT TELL BUT THE SCALE DONT LIE:w00t:. I HOPE THAT IM NOT IN MUCH PAIN.
