Strange feeling in center of my chest?

I was banded 3/19/09. Everything has gone pretty smoothly. But a couple of days ago I noticed a feeling in my upper stomach that doesn't feel right. When I take a deep breath it feels as if something hits the back of my rib, in the center of my chest. Its like something popping. Has anyone had this happen to them? I am afraid my band has come loose.

I was banded on 1/16/09 and for a couple of weeks after my surgery, I felt a slight pain when I would take a deep breath. It went away though and I haven't had any problems since.

Thanks, Salliemae. I'll try not to get so excited over everything, but my surgeon hasn't done many of these surgeries and I am afraid he may have done something wrong.

im getting this now im unsure what it was i was banded 2 years ago and got my first fill 1 week ago and was very sick so had to get some out so i thought im maybe sore due to swelleing with vomiting but its now 4 days of this sharp pain when i take a deep breath or swallow any ideas?

Jancar, How are you doing? Has the pain gone away? I'm curious, why haven't you had a fill until now? I am still having the popping around by left lower rib. I think it must be the tubing?!?! bgab
