O boy- can't believe that I am disclosing this. Thank you all for being brave enough to share and showing me it is okay to share. Started pre-op yesterday at 250.8. Didn't weigh today. 250.8 is my highest ever. I'll try and post next week but it will be the day after surgery. Happy Easter everyone.

Band Groupie, Hannah and Sexylips need your pre-preopdiet weight

Celtic need your current and your pre-preopdiet. You may want to miss this week as you have just been banded? So maybe you dunno what you weigh.

Lingling- Sorry for the delay...just got back into town and I'm trying to catch up with everything. The spreadsheet will be great motivation...I gained 1 1/2# on my long weekend and that was with drinking a shake for Breakfast and being really good at meals (and I ate NO sweets...not even a single jelly bean)...so discouraging. Ahh well, back on the pre-op track. Here's your info.

Highest Pre pre-op-248

March- Not sure

April 4- 231

April 10- 226.5 (now 228 boo-hoo)

MrsMitch- I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you're still on the road to banding. Hang in there!

Hi guys

Great going everyone

Here are the results from week one.

Please note that some of the calculations won't work as we don't have highest weights for everyone - these will impact every week's results for these people as we need a point of comparrison. People are away getting banded and for easter so I am sure they will come in due course!

The other reason some of the calcs aren't working this week is that we don't have a 4th of April weight for everyone - never fear! this will Iron out next week as most people have given this week's weight.

Ignore the funny calcs in red - its just an error because of above!

Overall so far

Hannah and JayTee kicked butt this week with 13 and 7lb loss respectively! Although if you look at everyone's loss as a % of their starting weight we are all doing really well!!

Hang in there we are on the road to healthy happy lives!!! :(

PS. Sorry not sure why the JPG is so tiny!!!!

I have uploaded a word doc to show the spreadsheet

OOOOH! Count me in, please!

My highest (Nov. 2008) was 327.

My weight on April 1st (surgery date) was 295.

I did not check my weight on April 4th.

My weight on April 10th was 285.

Thanks for doing this! I don't understand how to create spreadsheets, so I totally appreciate it!

:) Kaner

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
