My name is Lisa I am 32 and I just got word last night that my insurance has approved my surgery. So it should happen soon. I am really nervous and not really sure I know everything i should. So I joined this site to get some helpful tips such as what I can and can not eat. What type of weight loss people have had and to see if anybody lives near me that has had this. Corydon, IN.

There are sections for each state where you can find peopel who live near you and we have a section on Nutrition too.

There is a TON of information online about lapband. Read everything you can find to help you prepare. I've only been banded since March 24th. I've lost 32 lbs since March 5th. I'm thrilled with my decision to have the surgery. Good luck!
