I am wondering if anyone can recomend a dr in the Perth area that i can see.

Also the price of the opperation also how long the recovery is from the surgery.

I have private Health Insurance with Medibank Private.

Hi Renee,

I was banded by Dr Kevin Dolan just last Friday at Glengarry hospital. His private rooms are at Joondalup hospital. He charges $1000 1 month prior to procedure and the gap for the anaesthetist is 200 apart from some small fees for the ultrasound and dietician, medibank covers the rest. Hope this helps. He asks you to have one week of work.

I was banded by Steve Watson, who consults out of SJOG Murdoch. I am with HBF so don't know what your fund covers but I paid $1900 for the op, nothing for anaethetist (completely covered) and about $130 for the hospital (mostly pharmacy though).
