New to this forum and the whole process

Hi my name is Lori and I live in northern NJ, my weight has been an issue for years, finally I decided to really do something about it. I had a consultation with a recommended surgeon, it went well, had my blood work done and now I need to schulde with Psch and Nutrionist. How long is it until surgery? I'd love to be done by Spring.....too ambitious???:thumbup:

Hi, Lori;

Welcome to the Board!

How long it takes until surgery depends entirely on your insurance company, and the Surgeon. Also, when you say you want to be done by spring, are talking about having your surgery done by spring, or completing your weight loss by spring?

:rolleyes: Hey Lori,

I am quite new at this too. I started my journey in January and I am having my surgery on March 11th, YAY !!.. The longest process was getting all the approvals from insurance. Each one is diffrent, I called ahead on mine to see what all was required so that I could have a heads up. ( I am a terrible waiter.. ) Good Luck !!!!!
