I had my surgery last week too on the 11th. Today was my first mushie. eggs have never tasted so good.... My dietician says scrambled eggs mashed potatoes puddings cottage cheese refried Beans Anything really that can be smushed well with a fork. Keep up the good work !!!!!

Hey Tif, You have come to the perfect place to get information. Before my surgery I read everything on here and it made everything much easier for me. I have found the chat line to be a great help for me too. Everyone there is more than willing to answer any questions you may have. They have encouraged me all along the way. Good Luck with insurance stay on top of them. Congrats on your loss so far keep up the great work.

Hi Ikerry, Congrats !!!! I was banded on the 11th. I only had 1 really bad night ( 12th ) after that like you things have been smooth sailing. I am even back to work. Keep up the good work and keep feeling good.

Hey Ladies !!!!! Today is pre-op at the hospital. I get my surgery time today !!!! I am still so excited. Wednesday can't get here quick enough. I know I'll be sore and have to bounce back after surgery but I am ready to get to my "sweet spot" fill and start seeing results. I know sometimes it takes a few fills to get there but I am so so ready. I am excited I have new friends that will be on this exciting jorney with me. It is so hard to believe that this time next week I will be BANDED !!!!! Doing okay on my preop, loosing 23 lbs so far. My only fear is the liver shrinking issue. Reading restlessminkeys story has kept me going. Thanks to all my chat friends for keeping me inspired and laughing. I LOVE this site, it has answered so many of my questions and calmed all my fears about this surgery. Thanks to everyone and God Bless

I am on day 2 of two weeks. I bought the Unjury, choc,van & chicken soup. The choc & van are good. The Chicken soup gave me the same reaction as you with the first teaspoon. I am sticking with the choc & van. Not sure how it would be with rice milk. Happy Journey !!!!1

I'm so glad you started this thread. I hung the mom's out for vacation sign in the kitchen this morning. Everyone is on their own for the next 2 weeks. I am offically on my 2 ptotein drinks and a healthy chioce meal for dinner today. So far so good. I am still so excited about my surgery. March 11th can't get here quick enough. I have banned everyone with the sniffles away from my office. I don't want to take any chances at catching a cold and delaying anything.

I love the idea on the frappucino, I start my pre-op 2 week Protein drinks Monday. This is a definate on my menu for next week.

I am more excited than ever !!!! My girls are 21 & 18. What Protein drink are you going to use ? I heard from a lot of banders on the chat about unjury. I ordered it and it should be here this week !!! YAY !!!!
