Not liking foods after eating them

This question is for people who are already banded. Do you ever have a craving for something and eat it and then feel icky afterwards so you never want it again?

It's weird. It can be something healthy for me or something not quite as healthy for me, but I find I really don't like a lot of foods anymore and my list of stuff that I'll actually eat is getting smaller and smaller.

Is this normal?

It's not like I'm too tight or anything. I think I have good restriction or maybe indeed a little loose. It's just that a lot of foods are like "ewww" to me. Bizarre.

Well I sure hope that what you guys are saying is going to happen for me. I absolutly love donuts and they are a huge weekness for me. I try to stay away from that area of the grocery store just so im not tempted to get one (to bad they are next to the fruits and veggies). I kinda hope that after I get a fill and start regular food that I will eat a donut and it will get stuck or make me PB. Who knows, maybe it wont be so bad....I havent had any problem giving up soda.

I don't have an aversion to any food since I've been banded. I do know what I can't eat because it will make me pb or feel sick, but I still miss some of the things I know I can't have. I still crave pizza and can eat a small amount if it has a thin, crispy crust, but the really cool thing is, I only eat a small amount. I can't eat donuts because they get stuck, but I still wish I could have one when I see others eat them.

Having said that, the cravings and urgings are not nearly as bad as they were pre-band. I know I have a tool that is designed to give me the results I want and it makes it easier to say no to the bad things. When I know the bad food is going to be around, I make sure I have something with me that I know I can have.

Ok, I do have to admit that I still really really enjoy milk duds. My 5 year old just shared hers with me. LOL.
