Congrats to each of you for your 100 lb mark. What an accomplisment. Can't wait for you to get to Onederland. I don't ever want to go back to the 200's again.

I have another NSV to share: Last night I baby sat for 3 of my grand-daughers. When their parents came home my DD and DS were sitting around talking. I got up to leave and my DS, says, wow are you little!! He said your backside is almost nonexistant and your belly is gone. Then he hugged me.

What does the boy want from me, because right about now, I'd give him anything!

Thanks for letting me share, and if I get on your nerves just tell me to shut the flap, but honestly, I love nonsolicited compliments.

Susan, those unsolicited comments mean the most as that means to me 'wow I really am losing weight and they really are noticing'. Keep on sharing 'em!!

I took my meausrements today and from the beginning I have lost 10" in each my bust, waist and hips!!!!! I held the tape measure out 10" more to see where I was before and was amazed!

Thanks Allie, I think you rock too!! You inspire me!

Armywife, I do eat pretty low carb. I have Cereal for Breakfast though (Kashi go lean) and then chicken usually for lunch and dinner is a meat and some veggie. I eat about 1/2 cup portions and that fills me up. I have good restriction. And I am working out 5 to 6 times a week doing 'Power 90' by Tony Horton DVD's.

WOW!!!! Congrats to you guys :) :).

Long.... Hopefully you can make it to Red Robin again one of these days. I am so happy for all of you.

Julie, I never know when the Red Robin gatherings are. They've never posted about them again in the Colorado board and I don't read Dr. K's. I figured they didn't welcome folks from other docs. I'd love to try and go again sometime. I don't think it matters which dr. banded you, we are all in the same boat and could use support from others in the area.

I'll let you know when they are. I am not a Dr K patient, but I do read their board. They welcome patient from all different doctors. They pretty much feel the same as you... it's not the doctor who did the surgery.. it's the fact that we all need support from each other.

I am pretty sure there is a meeting on the 7th of April (The day I am flying to MI) I believe it is someone from another state coming in for a fill. It's not at RR. I'll have to find out where and let you know.

Again... congrats on the great loss.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
