A week to go and I am getting nervous!!!

nervous.gifnervous.gif

Good Morning Everyone,

Well my surgery is a week away and I am starting to get nervous. I am excited though. I am anxious to being my weightloss journey. My husband said something to me yesterday that really bothered me. He said that he hoped I did not leave him once I lost the weight. Why did he say that to me? I love him. We have been together for 10 years, have 2 beautiful girls.

Was anyone else so nervous before surgery? What did you do or think of to calm you down?

Have a good day everyone!

All I could think of was being slim again... That was my only thought, I pushed all the others out the minute they tried to creep in!!! You will do fine hun, just concentrate on being healthy and feeling fabulous!!!!!!!

(((Hugs))))

My husband said the same thing to me. I think they think it's a joke - maybe to make us feel better - like we'll be super models or something. I was nervous, scared, freaked out, guilty, embarrased.... I almost backed out at least 20 times just a few days before surgery (even the day of surgery). Once I got to the hospital it was a little easier. The hospital staff was great. Me and the other girls there that were also having this done had a great time laughing and talking right up til I was wheeled back to the OR. I'm just 10 days out of surgery now and don't feel too bad. I've already lost 11 pounds. Just remember why you wanted to have the surgery in the first place. And, as a friend of mine keeps telling me "Nothing tastes as good as being thin." Good Luck.
