Wow, I needed this post as much as you Vines, I've only lost 25# since my surgery in May, but I'm down from a size 20 to a size 16, but for some reason I can't get past the idea that the damn scale should be moving. Everyone keeps telling me the same thing, muscle weights more than fat!!! So, maybe we should make a pack to stay off the scale?? I'm a scale junky!!! What shall we do????

All I could think of was being slim again... That was my only thought, I pushed all the others out the minute they tried to creep in!!! You will do fine hun, just concentrate on being healthy and feeling fabulous!!!!!!! (((Hugs))))

I use a deodarant stone, you can purchase them from the health food stores. You use them after your bath or shower while you are still wet, it kills the bacteria that causes the oder, but it doesn't keep you from sweating. However there have been recent articles about deodarants and breast cancer, something about it cloggs your pours and stops you from sweating, and this sometimes being related to breast cancers. I'll look for the articles and post them later.

I don't think I would allow them to remove anything of mine that is working. You do need your gallbladder it helps the body digest fat, if I remember correctly. I saw a herbalist about a year ago, and she informed me of gallbladder issues and we were able to repair with flaxseed oil and other herbs I dont remember exactly what they were. My 2 secretaries had their gallbladder removed and they run to the bathroom after eveything they eat, and regardless of this they are both still way overweight. Do some research before you allow them to remove your working gallbladder. Just my 2 cents

I have BCBS of LA I wonder if they will pay for my fills since I self paid my surgery, does anyone know?

I feel some restriction and get full quick, but then I feel hungry an hour later, I can pretty much eat anything but I've stayed away from starchy foods, and I've given up my Diet Dr Pepper addiction. The one thing I haven't done, is fruits, I have been putting off the grocery shopping hehehe I hate it!!!! But I plan on doing that this weekend making better meal plans.... /shrug I dunno but I feel hungry more than I think I should.

I'm getting my first fill next week, so I'm wondering if its going to help. The past week I feel full at the top of my stomach but the bottom still feels empty and gurgles from hunger, is this normal? Will the fill help with that? Stacy

I hope I dont gain any weight back before my first fill, seems like each day I eat alittle more. 12 days to go, I keep saying YOU CAN DO THIS, but dayum Im hungry

Well I saw someone say they had a may bandster list, but I just found it May 18 here, down 15# First fill scheduled for June 22

LMAO make it 100.00 an hour and I'll be there I'd like to make the vegas thingy, I need to check on the dates.

I know people that have had the gastric bypass, and they are always sick, and anemic and God only knows whatelse that we don't hear about. And you certainly are not hearing about the people that are dying from it. I have a neighbor that had gastric bypass 11 months later she was ill, and went to the hospital she didn't make it, her stomach was leaking toxins into her body and it pretty much ruptured. So banding was a no brainer for me.
