BBK how did you know what I needed? I am so up for this. I will be buying some Protein tomorrow. Because I have a lot of preparing to do for this I am going to start on thursday. However I will be back at the gym on monday.

Part of my epic stall has been due to not properly preparing for the inevitable hunger. I am going to plan this final push to goal out carefully.

Thanx for this post, I am ready to continue what I started with this band.

And some PBing on that crow, perhaps? :tongue_smilie:

Oh the hilarity! :)

I will start today. I was only 1.5 pounds from losing my goal of 80 pounds before the new year. I have gotten off track and gained 2 pounds. So I have 3.5 to lose in just a few days.

Good luck to everyone.

WOW, this is just what I needed. I'm an older bandster banded in July of 07. I didn't necessarily fall off the bandwagon, but a terrible fall in May of this year has really taken a toll on my excercising, and my eating habits. I'm still down 60 pounds, I think, haven't been on the scale in a while to see, but I need to lose about another 25 pounds to goal.

If you all don't mind I'd love to join this thread, and I'm thinking of starting liquids today, no time like the present to give me a jump start and try to get in as much activity as I can.

This is not easy, and we all still struggle here and there, it's just nice to know that even after a year and a half I can still come back to Lapband talk and get the support I need to get back on track in the new year.

Thanks to everyone here, and best of luck to all of us in the new year.:tongue_smilie:

Ok ladies, so I've updated my ticker, and my weight. I've went up 7 pounds since my last post, probably in June of this year, but that's ok. I'm back on track and heading in the right direction again.

Luluc, I usually just have the chocolate peanutbutter, but the cheesecake pudding sounds really good too. I'll have to try it.

What kind of pudding mix do you use and is it sugarfree?

I just use Water with my chocolate Protein Powder, and add ice and peanutbutter. How many calories approximately does your 8 oz shake have?

Thanks for the recipe, and about being honest- well, if I can't be honest here with all of you, then I can't be honest with myself either, so it's a start for me, and thanks!

Lynette

I'm in. I am sick and tired of not losing the way I want to. Don't get me wrong, I am happy that I am losing. I just know that I could be doing so much better. I am going to get my unflavored Protein after work. Which unflavored protein powder is REALLY unflavored?

i use jell-o sugar free cheesecake pudding mix.

the shake is approx 240 calories, which may be high - however they hold me a good 4+hrs.

just made a butterscotch one with vanilla soy Protein & jell-o SF butterscotch pudding mix. i get bored w/shakes so i have to mix them up a bunch.:tongue_smilie:

Sounds great, and the calories aren't bad at all. My shakes end up being 205 calories just with the Protein powder and 1 tbsp of peanutbutter. I like to add banana in once in a while, and they do last me a few hours too.

I use Jay Robbs unflavored powder, but I think it has a slight flavor depending on what you use it in. I can't taste it creamed Soups, but can see it in broth Soups, therefore I can taste it more. I can't use it shakes, I prefer the vanilla or chocolate, but I can put it in cottage cheese, yogurt, and can eat it without noticing a huge difference.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
