Dr. Liu/O Band Center patients--Where did you go for your 6 month supervised diet?

I am a patient of Dr. Liu in LA. UHC has denied me for reason and reason after reason. The latest is for not completing a 6 month weight loss program (medically supervised). I'm willing to do the medically supervised program--what can it hurt? So, are there any Dr. Liu/O Band Center patients who completed a 6 month program? If so, where did you go?

Thanks so much. :huh2:

I am a patient of Dr liu. First my insurance came back with the six month diet request but I fought it. The office sent a letter saying it was medically necessary and I wrote a long letter outlining my years and years of struggle. I also had been on and off Jenny Craig for years so I got a copy of the last 2 years of notes and included them. My insurance company, Horizon BC BS of NJ then approved me. By the way I sing Dr Liu's praises every day. I felt very little discomfort after surgery and it looks like my first fill hit my sweet spot! They say that is unusual but I am doing great! Good Luck and I hope it works out for you!
