Glad to have you join the group Matty! We're almost in the top 10 for most popular groups!!! LOL - So if there is anymore of you December 2008 Bandsters that want to join us please feel free!

WOW! Top 10 - that's not bad... We already have a great group in the December bandsters, I guess it follows that we will continue down that road together.

Pete - I am wishing I was in Florida right now. COLD in Kansas City area, and the Dolphins are coming to play football with the Chiefs on Sunday - high is supposed to be +5 with a windchill well below 0. With the Chiefs playing as they are and the cold temps, the stands will probably be close to empty. If they were in a winning season the stadium would be SRO no matter how cold!

Its not even Christmas and I am dreaming of spring already... Ah... dogwood, redbuds, warm breezes...

Thank you for starting group Pete great idean. I don't post much but I read alot of the post though guess don't have much to say.LOL

Joann I'm with you on spring I was not even able to go to my postop appointment there was so much snow here this year. I'm still snowed in lol raise in CA the white stuff I don't drive in.

I had my lapband on Dec 9th and doing well I guess I can't get my excerize in house it soooo small but I'm trying the Wii isn't doing it for me I want to move when I walk. I was in the hospital 4 days because I was so low in oxgen they said maybe I should take a sleep test. Hmmmmm wonder why that wasn't done before surgery?

Wish you all the Happiest Holiday and New Years I will try to post more.

God Blessing Carol

Hi happy holidays to all! I was banded on Dec 18th (along with a hiatal hernia repair). I'm just now learning how to "coexist" with my band. I've had to relearn how to belch - lol. I never thought I would say that!!!! Anyway - glad to start this journey with all of you! Here's to 2009 and all the wonderful changes it will bring for us!!!

Welcome Luckyjyn. Seems like there is a lot to learn these days! I have been surprised by some very interesting belches the last couple of weeks. I think I might be able to give my son a run for his money in the belching department (almost 40, and still giggles when he belches...) I'm wondering if this is normal??? It could prove embarassing...

Joann, I know exactly what you mean. I was just thinking - what if I do this in front of someone? Then I thought - Oh well, it's so necessary at this point in time.

I've been belching like a sailor. It actually makes me laugh. I'm hoping it isn't a permanent thing, because yes it could get imbarrasing.
