Hi Tracy I had my surgery on 12/09/08 also. Think excerise would help your weight loss and if you haven't lost anything by the time you have an appointment you should go you might need a fill. Hang in there your doing great. Carol

Age is just a number had my surgery Dec 9th and I'm doing fine. so very glad I did it I have lost about 37lbs I walk 5 days a week for 2 mile at are local mall. I have even start my spring clean already and its only Feb but hasn't been done in a while so I'm playing catch up. LOL Hope everything turns out of you and your able to get the surgery. I can drink caffine of any kind coffee or soda. I hear caffine makes you more hungry. Hang in there. Carol

Hi Ruth I'm in Washington myself and With God Blessing still on dry land. I had my surgery done Dec 9, 2008 and have lost 26lls. You go for it best thing I have done for myself. Carol

I'm a month post op and Dr. lets us drink Diet Soda but limited. The Dr. states there is no proven facts to say carbanation is going to stretch pouch. I have not tried it yet so I can say how it will affect me. HAPPY NEW YEARS Carol

Thank you for starting group Pete great idean. I don't post much but I read alot of the post though guess don't have much to say.LOL Joann I'm with you on spring I was not even able to go to my postop appointment there was so much snow here this year. I'm still snowed in lol raise in CA the white stuff I don't drive in. I had my lapband on Dec 9th and doing well I guess I can't get my excerize in house it soooo small but I'm trying the Wii isn't doing it for me I want to move when I walk. I was in the hospital 4 days because I was so low in oxgen they said maybe I should take a sleep test. Hmmmmm wonder why that wasn't done before surgery? Haven't even had my first checkup were getting dumped with snow and I don't drive in the stuff its like 2 hr drive for me. Merry Christmas Carol

I'm raising my granddaughter and there is always some snack food its her's not mine so far I have done great. DB has a sweet tooth so he always has something here it his not mine and so I have not been tempted to eat any of, why have choclate when you can have pudding or Jello.:tounge_smile: Merry Christmas Everyone Carol
