Should you be unfilled for another surgery?

For anyone out there that has had another surgery not band related did u get the band unfilled? I have to have a tumor removed from my shoulder and they are wanting to do surgery next week, but I am wondering should I get my fill out?

Ms Kelly, sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery.

I thought about you while I was in recovery with my latest surgery (Uterus removeal). I have alway done well recovering out of surgery but not this time. I don't know if it was the spinal they gave me??

What Alexandra said

in terms of a negative reaction to anaesthesia causing vomiting.
It was more like dry heaves and they did give me something for it, I don't remember what they called it.

Please keep us informed, I'll be thinking about you.

Just an update, had the surgery with no unfill and everything went fine. Today is my first day back to work and I am extremly sore!!!! Not sure that I can make it all day!! But, I am trying!!! I am going back on Thursday to get the staples out and find out more about it.!!!

But, no unfill was OK!

me too. Well, actally I've been thinking about the 3 of you.. Vera, Kelly and Estella! Here's hoping that every day, in every way, things are getting better and better!

I am feeling much better, thank you Vinesqueen. I get up real stiff in the morning, but once I get moving I feel better. And by the end of the day I end up the same way, its hard to sit at a desk all day when your this sore. Well, I'm still taking my percocet (sp?) at night to get a good night sleep. I love that stuff. Thanks again.

I don't get it, my doc today says 4 more weeks...how do you go back to work so soon.

every surgery is different..

glad you feel so good
