Discomfort/pain and bad reflux after fill...help??

I have had my last fill this Friday and am experiencing discomfort in my abdomen. I had a tight fill before but NEVER felt discomfort...just a lot of restriction. I have also never experienced reflux. I have eaten soup, a few pretzels, ice cream, and pudding and it goes down ok. I guess I am scared I had a slip but never felt a thing or had an issue until this last fill. Has anyone had discomfort just from a fill or should I suspect something is wrong?

I got a half of CC taken out and feel much better!

I just had my 2nd fill about 2 wks ago and I am very slow about getting back to eating solid food, but I have noticed that I am having some issues eating anything more solid than soup or oatmeal. I kinda dont want to go back for a removal of fluid, cuz I know when you start losing the weight the band will loosen up. I also know I started back on Celebrex for arthritis in my back, so I am not sure if I am having some acid issues due to that either. I am leaning toward the Celebrex being the issue rather than the fill and I may need to cut out the meds, grrr cuz they really help me...on top of having pain still from having had a softball size tumor removed from my lower back...

I usually have a lot of discomfort in my port after a fill, usually for a day or two.

Are you feeling discomfort where your port is? Or in your stomach? Your band might be too tight...

I am not sure who you are asking - but I dont have any pain in either area...just been having problems keeping solid food down...sigh.

I was directing that to the person who posted the thread...but it sounds like your band might be too tight. Maybe you should see about getting some fluid taken out, sometimes a small amount can make all the difference.
