Ok, so I've been plateaued (again) the last couple of weeks and I've figured out, by going back to my logs, that I lose for three weeks then plateau for about two and a half. Also noticed I'm really really tired right before I come out of a plateau. I'm also cancelling my fill appt for this Friday cause I still can't eat more than about 3/4 cup before I'm full.

its on sale at the 24 hour fitness website Bodybugg Coupon - Updated bodybugg coupons daily. for 199!

On the website, also, if you create a login (no charge for this) and use the coupon number APBB429 you will get the $50 off, plus another $10, for a total price of $189! I found this out by accident!

elyse: i'm sorry you've plateaued, but i'm glad you were able to discover why! i'm going to look back through my stuff and see if i see anything in mine, too. Maybe that can help you to figure out a way to kick-start the wt loss again!

Good luck to you!

I'm not sure there is a reason. I think it's just a natural cycle for me, and quite a few others, maybe. I asked my Dr about it last month when I was there and he said it was, that my body has to 'realign' itself. It can be frustrating, although it didn't seem to bother me as badly this time around, since I was expecting it. I'm still losing 10 lbs a month, which was my goal all along. And, when I got on the scale this morning, I'm down two pounds, so I must be coming off it.

10 LBS a month is great! I'm hoping to get there now that i'm doing the C25K program! Take care!

good morning everyone. just wanted to check in. i had my 4th post op/fill appt yesterday. i've lost 13lbs since my last appointment 5 weeks ago and i am very excited about it. my doctor was reluctant to give me any additional restrction and i wasnt 100% sure that i needed any either, but after a long discusion we agreed that a very small addition would be appropriate (.5) and we'd see what happens.

I know I have read this topic on the forum in the past, but I have to share my experience. This has been the first time that during my TOM I have experienced tight restriction. I haven't been able to get anything but liquids down since I started. So...in addition to my cramps and irritability...I can't eat! I am not complaining because this is the first time I have lost weight during my TOM!

How much is your doc putting in for a fill? Mine only does 1/2cc at a time.

It varies. She has put in as much as 1.5 (which was LOVELY), but she has never given me more than that and that amount it took 3 fills to work up to. I have read post where people where getting up to 3cc's at a time though.

My band is a 10cc band. 3cc's was put in during surgery. 1st fill I got was 2cc 6 weeks after surgery. Since then I have had about 5-6 fills/unfills. As of today I have 6.75cc's in my band and I'm at a great spot. Hopefully it will last a while like this.

I've got a 10cc band. No fill at all until 8 weeks after surgery. and he put 2 cc's in then. Since then, I've had 3 fills with each being 1/2cc. I really need some help. Hope next weeks fill does better. Thanks

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
