Could my band have slipped?

Hey all! I was banded on June 25, 2008 and have done very well. I have had two fills. The first one offered very little restriction and the 2nd one made a difference but I was still doing well.

Well, about 2 weeks ago I started throwing up more and more. Now my chest constantly hurts (my back too!) and I can only drink some liquids in the late evening. Do you think my band could have slipped? I am seeing the Doc tomorrow. I am afraid of getting fluid out because I have been losing so well, but I don't want to be miserable either. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks for your help!:rolleyes2:

By now you should have seen your doc. What did he think? You didn't mention how much time went by from your fill to being miserable. If it was a short time, I'd say it's too tight and take a bit of fluid out and if it was more than a few weeks, I'd suspect a slip and take all the fluid out to let your stomach rest.

I am now doing the latter. (empty band after a slip) I am gaining weight, but no pain...
