i am about 8 days out and would say I am fine not as tired and stay up all day so would say at 10 days you should be fine but like dan said I am not on my feet for a 12 hour shift so depends how strenuous your floor is

I had my surgery on Monday evening (10/27/08) and was back at work the following Monday. I probably could have went back sooner, but was glad to had the time off to be lazy and heal.

anthony for me seems to be the case also I was banded 9 days ago and not hungry in the morning but am starting to get really hungry at night

I was very active prior to surgery, I just ate too much. I had my surgery on Friday at 5:00p.m. and Sunday afternoon I went outside a push mowed my lawn. I was so pumped up about my new life I just wanted to keep moving. I don't like to take pain medication so I used advil instead. Which for me worked. I think pain meds can make you tired and nauseous, so I stay away from them. Everyone heals differently and your going to have to listen to your body, it will let you know. Good Luck
