Got my first fill yesterday !!!!

I got my first fill yesterday afternoon. About 6:30 last night I had a bowl of soup at Applebee's, and did not eat anything else until 12 noon today. I met my mother at Zaxby's for dinner at around 5 PM and was not able to eat anything!! I tried one french fry ( not good, I know) and felt like I had stuffed myself. I now know I should not anything unless I am really hungry. Is it normal to eat so little and feel stuffed?

Hi Donna. Do you know how much fluid he put in your fill? I also got my first fill yesterday. The doctor said she put in 1.7 cc's and said "Now you should feel some restriction." But I was able to eat today. I had 5 oz. of fish for dinner. I was just wondering if your first fill was alot more than 1.7 cc's.

Wow, Donna! I am soooo jealous! I had my first fill on Monday [3ccs] and I'm not feeling a thing...no restriction at all. How much was your fill? Did they put any in during surgery? I go back on the 31st for another fill and hopefully I'll have the same results as you are experiencing!

You may need to watch...eating so little isn't good, too few calories equals no weight loss. Keep an eye on it for a few days, you may just be a tad too tight.

I, too had my first fill yesterday.

They put 3 cc in at the surgery and the Doctor added one more yesterday.

I had my surgery July 25. I felt slightly restricted before and can feel the added liquid, too and feel less hungry.

I think I could eat with no problems, but I will stay on soft foods (soups) for a few more days. Well, I had a slice of an apple. Chew, chew, chew and I was fine.

I sure would not feel stuffed from one french fry.
