hysterectomy and pannilectomy

Anyone else have plastic surgery and a hysterectomy?

I was banded in 2006 and have lost 60 lbs. No, I am not at goal, but when the doctor said I needed a hysterectomy... it looked like an open door to me!

I still work out and try to watch what I am eating.... I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I am happy. I love the small things in life today.... being able to bend over and tie my shoes and accepting that happiness is an inside job!

So Monday is the day....I will be very excited to wake up in recovery without a uterus that has held me hostage for years and this piece of "fat" around my stomach!

I hope you surgery went well?? Do everything the doctor tells you,, don't lift anything more then a gallon of milk for a month, keep walking and keep hydrated.. I have been free from uterus since Mar 06 and never regretted a minute of it even after the weight gain..
