My Lap Band will hold 14cc. Anyone else with that size?

I just called my surgeons office to find out what size band i will be getting. I guess it holds 14cc?? I know nothing about bands or the sizes? Is this a normal one? lol i know it sounds funny but im just wondering. Ive been reading all this band size cc thing and im all confused. Isnt 14cc large? Someone please fill me in...lol..i just made a funny! no im serious though if someone could explain id love it. Thank you!

Melisa1.. I also have the A/P large band and it is 14cc.. It is just the size of the band. Most doctors who use A/P have a choice of Small or Large the small is 10cc so there is not much difference really, but hey just means you have more room for adjustment :laugh:

Melissa--I have a band that holds 14cc's as well. I just had my 1st fill and he put in 4 cc's. That has proven to be not enough for me for the proper restriction. But everyone is different. Good Luck!!
