Insurance wont cover surgery, bad credit, etc

Has anyone been able to get the lap band surgery despite that fact that there insurance excludes the procedure, credit is bad and cant get financing, and no co signer? I seem to be in this situation, and as much as I want/need the surgery....I think the dream of getting healthy is slowly fading bc of the financial issue. I guess this really isnt a question, just me venting. thanks for listening.

I understand your frustration, I too have a challenging credit history. Lost my job 3 years ago and had to file BR one of my worst experiences in my life. So we went from 2 incomes to just 1 and our insurance will not cover.

Now my band needs removed and I didn't know where to turn.

Have you tried Care Credit?? Worth a try.

Don't give up, never give up, there is always hope!!!!

One day at a time!!!

Take care, and good luck.
